When the client told me that the French hosts are not sure what to make of these cupcakes, I was disappointed. The children were afraid to eat them, the mothers were skeptical about this food resembling spiders. But, she added, American mothers were not asked to make and eat the same for their children.
And so began my life as a humble designer cupcakes in Paris.
I keep the € 20 note with which I was paid and which marks an important turning point in my life. And to celebrate my 2 years of activity, I want to do something for all those who made this history possible.
